Hill View House is a recently built holiday house set behind electric gates at Rushall, near Much Marcle in Herefordshire, with long views across the surrounding countryside towards the Malvern Hills. It sleeps ten in five bedrooms, every one with its own bathroom, holds a five-star rating with a Gold award and takes two dogs.
The ground floor is open plan, with a stylish, very well equipped kitchen and dining area divided from the seating area by a built-in gas fireplace. The kitchen is spacious and light, with two fridges, a wine chiller, electric hobs and ovens, a dishwasher, coffee machine and a built-in Sonos system. A separate snug gives you somewhere quieter to sit, and there is a small utility by the entrance with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Underfloor heating, an air purifying system, electric blinds, free wifi and BT TV run through the house.
One bedroom is on the ground floor, a king-size with an en-suite wet room, which makes the house workable for anyone who finds stairs difficult; the property carries an M1 accessibility rating. Upstairs are four more en-suite bedrooms, each with a television: three with super-king-size beds and one with a double. All the beds are Hypnos.
Outside, a private driveway at the front has secure space for around five cars, and behind the house is a lawned garden where you can sit out and take in the setting. Westons Cider is less than two miles away and there is a pub in the nearby village. Ledbury is about eight miles off and Hereford under ten, with Hereford Cathedral, the Museum of Cider, the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, Newbridge Farm Park and the Malvern Hills all within reach. The area is good for canoeing, cycling, rowing, horse riding and walking, and the house suits family gatherings and birthday celebrations at any time of year.
