About Atlanta

Athina is a large detached house in the village of Welton, in the heart of Lincolnshire on the edge of the Wolds and a short ride from the cathedral city of Lincoln. It sleeps up to twenty in ten bedrooms with seven bathrooms, holds a Gold award and takes two dogs. The centrepiece is a large heated indoor swimming pool with a jacuzzi, which is available for exclusive use.

The house is set up for a group of this size. There is a large dining room seating twenty with two high chairs, a games room with a full-size pool table, a table tennis table, a dartboard and a selection of games, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and three large fridge-freezers. Upstairs there is an additional kitchen, living room and dining area, which is a genuinely useful thing when the children want to eat early. Sky and digital television and wifi run throughout, some bedrooms are en-suite, and a cot, welcome pack and bed linen are provided.

Outside is a large private enclosed garden with a stream running along the bottom, a balcony, a barbecue and free parking for up to ten cars. The village is a good setting, with a pub a short walk away and a golf club close by with a restaurant offering a wide choice. Lincoln, a short bus or car ride, is famous for its abundance of old churches and its visitor attractions, including the castle, the cathedral, the Museum of Lincolnshire Life and the world-famous Christmas market each December. The Lincolnshire Wolds are on the doorstep for walking, with golf, horse riding and tennis nearby. The house suits a milestone birthday, an anniversary or an annual family get-together, and the owners take hen parties and birthday celebrations, with a discount available for smaller groups.
