About Northolme Hall
Northolme Hall is a Georgian hall with an adjoining Elizabethan cottage on the outskirts of the medieval market town of Wainfleet All Saints, on the east coast of Lincolnshire. Between them they sleep twenty-one in eleven bedrooms, hold a Gold award, and have far-reaching views across gently rolling countryside. The setting is secluded, yet the seaside resorts along the coast are close at hand.
The complex has three lounges, three kitchens, a secret playroom and a dining room seating twenty-two, and one of the bedrooms doubles as a cinema room, which gives a large party genuine flexibility to be together or to split into separate families and groups. The hall has three shower rooms and a bathroom and the cottage its own bathroom. Sky television is in the lounges and fast wifi reaches throughout, and there is a pool table, table tennis, air hockey and a games console, along with a selection of board games, books and DVDs. When it turns cold there are two coal fires in the hall and one in the cottage. A travel cot and high chair can be set up on request, and towels and bed linen are provided.
The hall and cottage sit in three acres of formal gardens and eight acres of fenced paddocks with a mange, and there is an indoor swimming pool within the hall. To the rear are tennis courts, a play park and a Victorian mansion playhouse for younger guests, so the adults can sit in the gardens with the views while the children burn off energy. Parking is ample and secure.
Wainfleet All Saints is an ancient port and market town in a conservation area, with a weekly market, traditional pubs and shops and the well-known Batemans Brewery visitor centre with tours; a pub is a short walk away, and the Barley Mow, Bella Napoli and the Ghandi are all local. Skegness Beach and Aquarium, Fantasy Island and Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve are all close, the Lincolnshire Wolds are within reach, and Lincoln is forty miles off with Wainfleet the nearest station. There is fishing, horse riding and golf nearby. The house suits large family get-togethers, reunions and special celebrations, and well-behaved hen parties are welcome by arrangement.
