About Epsom Cottage
Epsom Cottage is part of Bruern Holiday Cottages, a development of five-star Gold award properties set in extensive formal gardens near Chipping Norton, in some of the best-loved country in the Cotswolds. It sleeps five in three bedrooms with two bathrooms, holds a five-star rating with a Gold award and takes one dog. The leisure facilities on site are the real draw: an indoor heated swimming pool, a gym and a luxurious spa, with treatments available at additional cost.
Inside, the nineteen-foot drawing and dining room has a comfortable lounge area arranged around a television and a warming open fire. The cream-coloured luxury kitchen is very well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and freezer and has a kitchen table seating six. The master bedroom is genuinely romantic, with an impressive carved eighteenth-century four-poster bed and an en-suite shower room, and there is a comfortable twin and a single bedroom with a single four-poster, both sharing a pretty family bathroom. Wifi and Sky television run throughout, and a cot, high chair, stairgate, towels and bed linen are provided. The cottage is decorated with a tree at Christmas.
Outside is an enclosed garden and patio. An additional cleaning charge applies to bookings of under a week, and a refundable deposit applies for dogs.
Chipping Norton is five miles away and Kingham has the nearest station, three miles off, which makes this an easy Cotswolds base without a long drive. There is a pub locally and plenty of restaurants nearby. Blenheim Palace, the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens and the wider Cotswolds National Landscape are all within reach, with cycling, horse riding and golf close at hand.
