The Manor Vineyard sits in over half an acre of private lawns on the seventy-acre Cotswold Manor Estate, incorporating an organic vineyard and orchard of its own. It sleeps up to eleven in four bedrooms with three bathrooms, holds a Gold award and takes up to six dogs and cats. Guests have exclusive use of a hot tub and shared use of the estate's parkland and Games and Leisure Barn.
An open-plan kitchen and dining room seats all guests together and is fully integrated with an American-style fridge-freezer, oven, hob and dishwasher. The room that stands out is the conservatory and sitting room, with southerly views over the garden and parkland; it has a 42-inch HD television and a DVD player, and most bedrooms have televisions too. Some bedrooms are en-suite, there is a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom which makes the house workable for less able guests, and complimentary wifi runs throughout along with a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, freezer and coffee maker. A cot, high chair, towels and bed linen are provided.
Outside is a secure private garden with furniture and benches, a patio, a barbecue and the private hot tub, with ample free private parking. The site is dark-sky friendly and fireworks-free, useful for nervous dogs, and the house is decorated with a tree at Christmas. The shared games barn holds a pool table, snooker and table tennis, and the seventy acres of organic parkland are open to all the estate's guests.
A pub is within a fifteen-minute walk and private catering can be arranged with recommended caterers. Blenheim Palace, Minster Lovell Hall, Cogges Manor Farm, the Cotswold Wildlife Park, the Cotswold Falconry Centre, the Cotswold Motoring Museum, Crocodiles of the World and the Thames Path are all nearby. Oxford is eight miles with the Ashmolean, the Radcliffe Camera, the Botanic Gardens and the Pitt Rivers, and Hanborough has the nearest station. The house takes family celebrations, stag and hen parties, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events.
